‘Klong Kone’ Mangrove Forest: Klong Kone is the famous Mangrove Forest is located south 2 hours from Bangkok. This Mangrove Forest has covered areas of 800 Acres. Most of the local Thai families here are fishermen and seafood sellers.
Klong Kone community has arranged an amazing tour to support local Thais such as monkey feeding, visit oyster farms, home-cook lunch at the stilt house in the seashore, and others. You can enjoy learning about fishermen’s way of life and the highlight is ‘Monkey Feeding’ where you can feed fruits to all friendly monkeys by your hands!

Feeding Monkeys at the Mangrove Forest and Visit Oyster Farms.
1) Feeding Monkeys at the mangrove forest. There are more than a few-hundreds monkeys ‘Crab-Eating Macaque’ living inside the mangrove forest. They are a great swimmer and dive 50 meters / 150 feet deep. They love to eat small shrimps, crab, seafood, and fruits. These friendly monkeys are very excited to feed by fruits in your hands, sometimes they might swim or climb up on the boat to collect fruits from you and you can have amazing photos with them.
2) Visit the large Oyster, Mussels Farms. Enjoy the fresh air in the sea and learning fishermen’s way of life.
Have Lunch at the Stilt House in the middle of the Seashore.
3) Have Lunch on the stilt house in the middle of the seashore. The Stilt House is used for fishermen's rest during the night after work. The house is empty during the daytime for preparing as places to serve lunch for tours. Lunch is home-cook authentic Thai foods by fisherman boat driver’s wife. I can make sure all foods are suitable for your spicy scales, avoid your allergic ingredients and there is a vegetarian option.

📌 Using a private van with air-conditioning on tour:
The private commuter van is highly recommended for an easy and relaxing way to travel around Bangkok. It’s very comfortable with air-conditioning to keep you cool in Bangkok’s high temperatures and high humidity. Average temps in Bangkok 29-38C/85-100F with high humidity 70-90%. We will provide all refreshments such as cold waters, cold towels, and umbrellas on all trips.
The tour uses an Air-Conditioned Minivan for easy transportation. This is suitable for large groups, friends, families with young children who may not be used to the high temperatures and high humidity in Bangkok. Anyone who is unable to walk long distances on tour and also for those who might be tired from jetlag or long flights the day before your tour begins.

📌 Remark
Tour Booked with Lunch - If you decide to cancel lunch on tour, the price will be charged the same as the fishermen boat driver’s wife has to prepare all ingredients for home-cook Thai meals in advance with arranging to bring all foods by speed boat to the stilt house in the middle of the seashore for the tour.
Tour Booked with No-Lunch - The tour will not stop at a stilt house in the middle of the seashore as the stilt is used for fishermen's rest during the night after work. Because the stilt house is not a restaurant so there is no kitchen equipment for cooking. We will stop at the convenience store for your group to buy fast foods or snacks. Please feel free to have lunch in the van.
📌 Terms & Conditions
🔹 After checking the tour availability and other details, the confirmation tour requires a deposit payment before the tour starts. Without a deposit payment, there is no reservation or confirmation for a tour. The deposit is non-refundable. I usually have 18 - 25 booking days each month. I only work by myself without other tour guides and my schedule tour is usually booked very fast. I would recommend you make the reservation in advance.
🔹 The confirmation tour booking is first come first serve. After I receive the deposit, I will send you the confirmation tour and details of the balance payment on your tour again.
🔹 The list on the itinerary is 6 hours of tour standard charged. If your tour is not finished within 6 hours, still the same charge.
🔹 This is a pre-planned tour: If you decide to end the tour early or skip some of the activities, the tour rate remains the same, as this is a pre-planned guided tour.
